Product recommendations and mixing procedures

Blacknite can be mixed directly in most mud systems. Additions of Blacknite are best accomplished by pouring the product directly in the rig hopper; however, the product can be added as a chemical premix when necessary.
a) Concentrations of 1-3% (v/v) (depending on mud density) will be sufficient for borehole stability, HPHT rheology control, and HPHT filtrate reduction.
b) Concentrations of 1-4% (v/v) (depending on mud density) will be sufficient for HPHT reduction and inhibition. |
