DRILCON-DSDrilCon-DS is a blend of non-ionic and anionic surface active agents desinged to reduce interfacial tension between water, solids and clay in a water base drilling fluid.
DrilCon-DS will minimize the hydration of all shale and formation solids. This results in the reduction of solids and fines buid-up, as well as "Gumbo" problems such as bit-balling, shaker blinding and plugged flow lines.
DrilCon-DS eliminates "Gumbo downtime" while maintaining consistent or improved ROP.Mixing recommendations:
Gumbo - add continuosly to suction pit while drilling.
Siltstone - maintain 1-2%, by volume.
Running casing - Spot in open hole, 1 drum per 50 bbls of mud.
